Sarah Harding wants US film career

Sarah Harding wants to star in a Quentin Tarantino movie.
The former Girls Aloud singer and 'St Trinian's actress insists she hasn't ruled out further acting work and wants to follow in the footsteps of Uma Thurman, who played vengeful bride Beatrix Kiddo in the 'Kill Bill' movies, directed by the famous film maker.
Harding exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'd love to do a massive feature film, an American production, something a little different.
"I've supported British, I've done BBC drama and 'St Trinian's, but I'd like to see what it's like working on the other side of the pond for experience. I'd love to do a Tarantino film ... 'Kill Bill', I have the hair!"
The 32-year-old blonde beauty, who played teenage rebel Roxy in the 'St. Trinian's franchise, says she "probably" still has her schoolgirl outfit from the film.
She added: "I also had some amazing leather pants I left in wardrobe."
Harding is currently focusing on her newly launched solo career and claims she tries to ignore her critics.
She said: "There will be a minority, or a majority, probably, waiting for me to fail, you do feel like you've got a lot to prove [but] I always want to prove it to myself first."

Imogen Poots admires actresses who can adapt

Imogen Poots looks up to women who challenge themselves in film.
'The Look of Love' actress - who is currently starring alongside 'Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul in 'A Long Way Down' and 'Need For Speed' - admires actresses such as Kristen Scott Thomas and Shirley Henderson for their ability to adapt to unusual roles.
She told BANG Showbiz: "These incredible women who really challenge themselves again and again, they're like chameleons, they adapt.
"They are a huge inspiration and they inspire me to be the most terrific actress I can be."
The blonde beauty - who made her first major film appearance in 2008 post-apocalyptic sci-fi horror '28 Days Later' alongside Robert Carlyle, Jeremy Renner and Idris Elba - says she's planning on taking some time off before her next project, which she's already lined up.
She added: "I'm doing a film called 'Beautiful Ruins' based on the Jess Walter novel with Todd Field directing, I'm very excited about that."

Cameron Diaz worried about ‘ugly’ bikini slip

Cameron Diaz admits it could have been "ugly" if her bikini slipped while filming 'The Other Woman'.
The 41-year-old actress - who stars alongside Leslie Mann and Kate Upton in the film - has a scene where she's running in a two-piece and insists she has to ensure it was put on correctly before shooting the scene or it could have been a disaster.
She said: "I make sure that it stays in all the right places - it could be really ugly if it slips! It's just one of those things where you don't want to end up with less than you started."
Although she flashes her flesh in the film, the blonde beauty insists she didn't do any more training than the norm to keep her body in shape.
She explained to HELLO! magazine: "I mean I wasn't doing any specific workouts for this movie, I was just doing my normal sort of training for this movie actually, I was in a little bit of a lull. My wellbeing is my focus so it's not a matter of going in and getting ready for that bikini scene."

Emma Stone loves working with Andrew Garfield

Emma Stone loves working with Andrew Garfield.
The 25-year-old actress has reteamed with her real-life boyfriend in superhero sequel 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and finds it "easier" working with him because of their relationship, and says he always teaches her a lot.
She said: "When it comes to working with people you already know, it's much better and easier.
"It's great to be working together. He's an amazing actor and I always feel like I'm learning something from him."
However, Emma admits she finds it difficult to balance her work and personal commitments.
She added: "But in terms of finding a career and home life balance, well I'm still working on that."
Meanwhile, Andrew also admitted he is relieved not to be a superhero in real life as it would leave him little time to be with his loved ones.
He told the latest edition of Closer magazine: "It's difficult to be a superhero because you don't get to have much of a personal life. Luckily, I'm not a hero, I'm just an actor."

Mara Wilson rules out Mrs Doubtfire sequel

Mara Wilson has no "interest" in reprising her role for the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' sequel.
The former child star, who played daughter Natalie Hillard in the 1993 hit film, has ruled out her chances of joining Robin Williams and Chris Columbus, who directed the original comedy, in creating a follow-up movie.
Taking to Twitter yesterday (17.04.14), Wilson, who left her acting career behind almost a decade ago, wrote: "They haven't asked me to be in it, and I think it would be weird if they did! I don't act much and am not a cute little kid anymore.
"The only reason I've said I don't want to do it is because of the literal hundreds of people asking me about it.
"I loved being in 'Doubtfire', and I'm grateful every day I had that experience. I met my sister-for-life Lisa [Jakub] there. I had a great time.
"But I don't think a sequel makes sense plotwise, and I don't think there'd be a part for me even if I did still act and was interested."
Meanwhile, although the idea of a sequel has been discussed since 2001, when Bonnie Hunt was enlisted to pen a script, Columbus and Williams never felt any of the drafts by Hunt or other writers were strong enough.
However, the project is said to have become active again earlier this year when 'Elf' writer David Berenbaum became involved.

Cameron Diaz: I barely worked out for scenes

Cameron Diaz "barely worked out" before stripping off in scenes for 'The Other Woman'.
The 41-year-old actress, who is seen running down a beach in a bikini with Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton, 21, in the new movie, admits she wasn't worried about her figure and being filmed with an actress half her age.
Talking on 2Day FM radio station, she explained: "When I did that scene I was barely working out.
"I wasn't like 'Oh my God, I am going to be in a bikini and Kate is going to be in a bikini and what is everyone going to think of me.
"I am 20 years older than her. I am not trying to be her. She is a beautiful woman. We are completely different and I celebrate her."
The blonde star also insists she doesn't wish to be 21 anymore and she feels "great" about her body, adding: "I am very happy to be 41 and I love it."
Kate - who joins Leslie Mann on screen for comedy 'The Other Woman' - has become friends with Cameron after they gossiped about ex-boyfriends together.
Asked who is more likely to call an ex when they're drunk, Cameron, who is single and previously dated Justin Timberlake, replied: "I don't have anybody I want to drink dial."
And Kate, whose former boyfriends include Dancing With The Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy, added: "I don't have anyone I want to talk to. They're an ex for a reason. I'm like, 'Okay, and go! Next!"

Chris Pine to star in The Finest Hours

Jason Statham almost drowned on set

Jason Statham nearly "drowned to death" on set.
The hunk stars as Lee Christmas in forthcoming 'The Expendables 3' alongside Sylvester Stallone who revealed just how "dangerous" action films can be while he was defending the genre which he believes isn't as well received as dramatic films.
Stallone told collider.com: "Everyone has this conjecture that action films are somewhat less prestigious than dramatic films. Nothing could be further from the truth. I've done them both and this is hard and dangerous. I mean, Jason [Statham] nearly drowned to death - lucky he's a great swimmer. All of us would've been walking on the bottom of the Black Sea by now - well, not really walking, probably floating - and that's some serious stuff. Things happen here. It's very very unique."
Stallone doesn't think films like 'The Expendables' series will be produced in the future since there is a lack of stars who'll be able to "commit" to roles needed.
He added: "They're not going to make films like this much longer because it takes a certain person that's willing to commit and go for it and have an aura. The hardest thing is to find an action star. I don't give a damn what anyone says, stars they come and go. An action star, you can count on one hand, because it's a very interesting element."
