Jennifer Aniston to star in sports drama The Fixer

Jennifer Aniston is set to star in sports drama 'The Fixer'.
The 46-year-old actress will play beauty pageant queen-turned-sports manager Denise White in the biopic and will also act as executive producer - along Kristin Hahn - of the movie for Fox 2000, according to Deadline.
'Dallas Buyers Club' co-writer Melisa Wallack adapted the script from Paul Solotaroff's 2014 Men's Journal article titled 'The Woman Who Bails Out the NFL's Bad Boys', which chronicled Denise's rise to the top of the sports world.
The feature told the story of the life and career achievements of Denise, who prior to building a successful sports management company called EAG, was a contestant in the Miss USA pageant and won the Miss Congeniality title in 1994.
EAG has handled sports people for more than a decade with clients including NFL stars Vince Young, Jared Allen, Brandon Marshall and DeSean Jackson, and during an interview for Solotaroff's article Denise - who is 43 years old and lives in California - said she is like a mother figure to her clients.
She said: "(My clients) need every bit of mothering they can get. Oh, you don't know drama until you've heard my horror story. I'm the only woman manager in the NFL - hell, the only woman, period, in this godforsaken league. How do you think I landed all these guys?"
Meanwhile, Jennifer will be seen on screens in forthcoming movies 'Mother's Day' and 'The Yellow Birds', out later this year.

Kim Basinger for Fifty Shades Darker

Kim Basinger has signed up for 'Fifty Shades Darker'.
The 62-year-old actress is set to star in the sequel to 'Fifty Shades of Grey' as Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) former business partner and lover, Elena Lincoln, E! News reports.
The film - which also stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele - is expected to begin production early next month with the release date currently set for February 10, 2017.
Meanwhile, the latest instalment of the film will be directed by James Foley after Sam Taylor-Johnson walked away from the project.
Speaking to confirm her exit previously, she said: "Directing 'Fifty Shades of Grey' has been an intense and incredible journey for which I am hugely grateful. I have Universal to thank for that. I forged close and lasting relationships with the cast, producers and crew and most especially, with Dakota [Johnson] and Jamie [Dornan].
"While I will not be returning to direct the sequels, I wish nothing but success to whosoever takes on the exciting challenges of films two and three."
Despite stepping away from the project, Sam admits it was a "monumental" experience.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I'm flattered they wanted me to continue. But it was a monumental job - that was enough for me."

Dan Mazer: Sacha Baron Cohen films felt like a bank job

Dan Mazer says working with Sacha Baron Cohen felt like "doing a bank job" every day.
The comedian and filmmaker co-wrote much of the material for his pal's most famous characters - which included Ali G, Bruno and Borat - and the pair were known for approaching celebrities and embarrassing them, which he says gave him a massive rush.
He explained: "We asked Victoria Beckham, 'do you want your son to grow up to be a footballer like David, or a singer like Mariah Carey?' Every day felt like doing a bank job, a heist. You'd get back at night and the adrenalin is like nothing you've ever felt.
"Essentially, in Borat, Bruno and Ali G, all of our targets were deserving. We wanted to be satirical, prove something, fire a shot across the bows of people who deserved it."
Dan is now writing a script with Zach Galifianakis which he says is about a New Age nudist festival in Sweden, and insisted he is taking a less risky approach to making movies nowadays.
He told The Independent newspaper: "Never say never. We have families and kids now. Do I want to go out and get shot at by the KKK again? Do I want to wake up at 5am at a Holiday Inn in Wichita to go out and find rednecks?
"That was a phase in my life where comedy was everything. Now there's a bit more perspective. And frankly, if you can sit on a film set and have green tea and almonds brought to you, your appetite for that level of hardship is slightly diminished."

John Krasinski: The fire was real in 13 Hours

John Krasinski ran through a real fire on the set of '13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.'
The 36-year-old actor plays a US Navy SEAL in the new war movie and revealed an average day of filming would entail running through burning buildings, dodging gunshots and ducking behind cover from explosions.
The former 'Office' star said: "There was a lot of machismo and a lot of adrenaline on set. A normal day would be running through a burning building. That building you see in the movie? That was actually on fire... I'd say 98 to 99 per cent of this was 'practical', meaning any time there was an explosion, fire or a gunshot, we were walking by those things."
John lost 21 per cent of his body fat for the Michael Bay directed film and although he was working in a fake war zone, he says it didn't stop his body going into the natural "fight-or-flight".
He said: "As an actor, it really helped. There's a primal fight-or-flight instinct that kicks in. Even though it was all pretend, my body didn't know that, so it got freaked out and tried to survive."
The actor - who is married to British star Emily Blunt - comes from a military background and was honoured to play the part of a serviceman.
He told Metro newspaper: "I come from a huge military family with aunts and uncles and cousins who have served or are serving. So I have always wanted to do a movie like this. One that honours what the real guys in this story actually went through."

Arnold Schwarzenegger confirms Conan sequel

Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed the 'Conan' sequel "will" go ahead and be called 'Conan The Conqueror'.
The 68-year-old actor found fame in the cult 1982 movie 'Conan the Barbarian' as the pre-historic warrior and he reprised the role in 1984's 'Conan the Destroyer'.
Speaking at a charity gala, at which he called 'Conan the Conqueror', he said: "Where I'm sitting on the throne for years and years - decades, and then all of the sudden, the time comes when they want to overthrow me. So that story will be told and that movie will be done.
"As a matter of fact, it ['The Legend of Conan'] has been written and we are now looking for directors so this is a serious drive [for 'Conan']."
Meanwhile, Arnold isn't afraid to take on the physical task of being the unbeatable warrior again because he has avoided the effects of ageing by spending the past three decades staying in shape.
He said: "One of the advantages for when you train every day, when you bicycle everyday, when you work out every day is that age is not registering in the body the same with everyone else.
"Because when you stay in shape, you do turn back the clock.
"So I feel great and the last few movies that I've done, I've done many of my own stunts. I did all the physical stuff and it didn't wipe me out and I have plenty of energy and feel really terrific.
"So I am absolutely convinced that I can do the Conan movie and do the horseback riding, the sword fights and all the fighting."

Taron Egerton: Kingsman 2 goes international

Taron Egerton says 'Kingsman 2' will go "international".
The 25-year-old actor - who will reprise his role of troubled youth-turned-secret service agent Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin in Matthew Vaughn's upcoming sequel - is excited about the movie because he will get to visit "incredible" places around the world.
The actor - who starred alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Firth in the original film - revealed: "With 'Kingsman', we're shooting in the summer at present. There's a script, it's brilliant. Obviously there's only so much I can say but what I can say is that we shot the first one all in the UK, that won't be the case with the next one. It's a far more international story, we're going to some incredible places."
Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson played an eccentric eco-warrior called Richmond Valentine who planned to save the planet from climate change via a worldwide killing spree.
But Taron thinks the villain for the next installment is so "amazing" he wishes he could play the part himself.
Speaking from the Sundance Film Festival, he told Collider: "We have a villain to rival Samuel L. Jackson - this new one is so brilliantly written I wish I could play it. It's amazing."
Filming for 'Kingsman 2' has began and the movie is set for release in July 2017.

Hugh Jackman teases Wolverine sequel

Hugh Jackman will begin filming for the 'Wolverine' sequel "sooner rather than later".
The 47-year-old actor has teased the script for the third instalment of the Marvel movie had been delivered to him and hinted it wouldn't be long until he reprises his role.
He told Collider: "We have a script. A full script. Two days ago I got that the full finished - well, it's not finished, but we're getting super close - as you can see by the rate of my facial hair. That might give you a good clue that perhaps ... Yeah, it's sooner rather than later.
"I don't have a firm date yet. My thing and I've told you and I've told everyone, it's my last one, for me I want it to be perfect, so the moment I know it's perfect, bang, we'll go."
Meanwhile, Hugh previously revealed he gets "annoyed" at the tough diet and exercise regime he has to undertake to prepare for his role as the mutant.
He said: "Wolverine is very determined and visceral. It's not just his anger that drives him, although he obviously uses anger to his advantage.
"I don't get angry while playing him. I get more annoyed in the months leading up to the start of filming and having to go on this insane diet and training regime in order to put on 25lbs and bulk up. You'd be angry too if you were eating 6,000 calories a day and bench-pressing 350lbs."
