Moby lists his Los Angeles mansion for $4.5 million

Moby has put his Los Angeles mansion on the market for $4.5 million.
The 52-year-old musician has decided to sell his stunning property in California – which boasts five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a music room, a swimming pool and a spa – just two years after he acquired it.
The lavish abode, which spans 4,644 square feet, is located in the Los Feliz neighbourhood of Los Angeles, and it even features a secret Speakeasy entrance, which links an office and guest suite to a secret bathroom and steam room.
The American star only acquired the property in 2016, when he spent $3.4 million to become its owner, and he’s subsequently spent two years having it renovated, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
The mansion was built in 1926 and has been described as a "masterpiece" by the estate agents who are attempting to sell the property on behalf of the star.
Moby – whose real name is Richard Hall – has sold over 20 million records worldwide during his career.
However, he recently claimed that global success made him the "worst version" of himself.
Reflecting on the impact of his 1999 album ‘Play’, Moby confessed: "A lot of degeneracy, depravity, hedonism, sybaritic behaviour came after that…
"I had a lot of insecurity and in the course of just a few months, you had everyone in the world celebrating you like you’re some demi-god.
"Every woman you’ve ever longed for is suddenly in love with you.
"It didn’t just make me insane, it made me the worst version of myself that I could be.
"I became entitled but also anxious, my alcoholism went out of control, but so did my self-loathing. It sort of rearranges your neutral architecture – wonderful when it’s happening but when it starts to go away, that’s when you really start to lose your mind."
