Love Island’s Mike ‘Muggy Mike’ Thalassitis is reportedly fuming that Jessica Shears and Dom Lever are making loads of money off the back of their on-screen romance.
The 24-year-old footballer has brushed off the fact the brunette beauty chose the 26-year-old hunk over him and now the pair are seemingly raking in the cash because they’re so in demand since leaving the famous villa and getting together on the outside.
A source told The Sun Online: "Jess was the only girl Mike really fancied in the villa – he was keen to see where it went when they left the show – but she chose Dom.
"Mike’s been moaning about losing out – if it had gone his way, he would be in Dom’s position now with the girl AND the money. Although Mike is making a load of cash too – he knows he’d have had at least double with a woman on his arm."
Since they touched back down in the UK earlier this month and rekindled their love away from the cameras, they’ve reportedly been flooded with work offers.
A PR expert told the publication last week that the pair couple earn "hundreds of thousands of pounds" if they market themselves as the "perfect couple".
Although they seem very loved it, things were touch and go a few weeks ago as Dom left the villa – a week after Jess – to hear that his girlfriend had hooked up with Mike.
Jess has vehemently denied she ended up in bed with the heartthrob but Dom was adamant that their romance would be off if he ever found out the rumours were true.
He said at the time: "I don’t think I would make a go of it. I would stay friends with her because we’ve been on a pretty epic journey together but if that’s happened then I suppose everything I thought was special just wasn’t to her.
"I want to speak to both of them. Jess is my priority and then once I’ve spoken to her, I’ll contact mike and meet up with him at some point."
