Mike Hassini charged with drink-driving

Mike Hassini has been charged with drink-driving.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star has been suspended from the ITVBe show until further notice after he was recently caught behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol.
A spokesperson for ITV told The Sun newspaper: "In view of the charges brought against him, Mike Hassini has been suspended from ‘TOWIE’ until further notice."
The 21-year-old hunk – who has claimed he’s bedded over 100 women – could now face up to three months in prison, a driving ban and a hefty fine for his boozy crime.
Mike isn’t the first member of the cast to find themselves in hot water with producers as James ‘Arg’ Argent was temporarily dropped from the show in 2014 when he tested positive for Class A drug use.
Mario Falcone was also suspended earlier that year when he was caught on camera appearing to snort cocaine.
And the cast’s crimes don’t just stop at drugs and alcohol as Dan Osborne – who has 18-month-old daughter Ella with Jacqueline Jossa – was also kicked off the show last year when footage emerged of him threatening his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin, with whom he has son Teddy, two.
A source told the publication: "This is a big headache for ‘TOWIE’ bosses. They’ve had problems with cast members in the past on a variety of things – including drugs and violence. They’d hoped all of that was a thing of the past given there’s been such a big change in cast in the last couple of years. They’ve taken the quick, but considered, decision to suspend him [Mike] until further notice and when things are a bit clearer."
