Mike Bushell and more confirmed for Strictly live tour

Mike Bushell will be back dancing on the ‘Strictly Come Dancing Live Arena Tour 2020’.
The 53-year-old sports presenter and his professional partner Katya Jones were given the boot from the BBC One Ballroom and Latin competition last night (10.11.19), after the judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli – unanimously chose to save his rival Michelle Visage and her partner Giovanni Pernice in the Dance Off.
Mike – who vowed to continue dancing after his exit – said of being asked to do the tour: "I’m so thrilled to be asked to go on the ‘Strictly’ tour.
"I’ve loved my journey on the TV show and have lost a stone and a half in weight – that shows how good dancing is for you.
"I think I’ve shown that even a non-dancing dad in his 50’s can learn some moves and hopefully I can inspire people in venues across the country too."
Mike will be joined on the road by his fellow celebrities; Sky Sports presenter Alex Scott, former ‘Coronation Street’ star Catherine Tyldesley, ‘EastEnders’ star Emma Barton, CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual, former soap star Kelvin Fletcher and YouTuber Saffron Barker.
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ judge Michelle won’t be on the arena tour, and admitted to her Twitter followers that she is "sad" not to be taking part.
A fan tweeted her: "You kill it every week and love wat thing what you do will keep voting.
"Sad your not on the tour thought girl (sic)."
And she replied: "As am I."
The 51-year-old US star also added the "don’t know" emoji, insisting she isn’t sure why she wasn’t chosen.
Whilst Kelvin – who is a favourite to win the competition – said: "The ‘Strictly’ experience is really like no other – the training and work that goes into it is immense.
"I feel like I’ve really pushed myself, but it’s completely worth it.
"I’m very much looking forward to continuing this adventure on tour next year!"
Last year’s winner Stacey Dooley and the judges Shirley, Craig and Bruno will also be taking part.
The tour kicks off on January 16, 2020, at Arena Birmingham, with four consecutive nights.
And the run concludes with three nights at The O2 in London concluding on February 9.
Tickets are on sale now.
