Migos’ Quavo accused in robbery row

Migos’ Quavo has been accused of robbing and beating a jeweller during a row at a party.
The 26-year-old rapper – whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall – allegedly got into an altercation with celebrity blingmaker Eric the Jeweler during a Grammy Awards afterparty at New York nightspot 1Oak in the early hours of Monday (29.01.18) morning.
According to TMZ, Eric confronted Quavo about money he’s allegedly owed, but their discussion turned physical.
The jeweller – who filed a police report on Tuesday (30.01.18) – told cops he got jumped by Quavo and another man who was partying with the group, so he made a swift exit from the club with minor injuries to his face at around 4.30am.
But as he left the party, he realised his chain, which was worth around $30,000, was missing.
Eric – who has made pieces for the likes of Snoop Dogg, French Montana and 50 Cent – submitted a robbery report to police.
Sources inside the club insisted the other man allegedly involved in the altercation was not Quavo’s Migos bandmates Offset or Takeoff, but officers are still said to want to interview all three members of the group, as well as their manager.
Police are also requesting to view security camera footage from 1Oak to see if they can garner more information about the row.
A spokesperson for the ‘Bad and Boujee’ hitmakers has not yet commented on the reports.
