Michelle Williams pierced Busy Philipps’ ears

Michelle Williams pierced Busy Philipps’ ears after the Critics’ Choice Awards.
The ‘My Week With Marilyn’ actress left her friend and former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ co-star in pain when she helped force her earrings through her ear lobe in the bathroom of their hotel room because Busy had taken the jewellery out and the hole had closed over.
Speaking in an Instagram story video, Busy said: "OK, so we have to re-pierce my ear basically because I changed my ears out before it was time and Michelle has to put it back in and it hurts!
"You guys, why are we like teenagers. This is so dumb!"
Despite the glitzy ceremony, the two friends seemed to have far more fun in the bathrooms on Sunday (11.12.16) evening than at the awards show.
Busy shared a photo of herself and Michelle standing in between two hand towel dispensers outside toilet cubicles and wrote: "Michelle and I like this picture of ourselves in a porta potty better than any red carpet pics we saw. So here you go.(sic)"
Busy, 37, previously revealed she and Michelle – who has 11-year-old daughter Matilda with late ex-partner Heath Ledger – "fell instantly in love" with one another after being introduced by mutual friends in 2012.
And the blonde beauty – who has Birdie, eight, and Cricket, three, with husband Marc Silverstein – admits working on ‘Dawson’s Creek’ with her pal only strengthened their friendship.
She previously said: "We were set up to be friends by a mutual friend, who thought that we would really love each other. And we did. We fell instantly in love.
"It was right before I got [‘Dawson’s Creek’ ]. We shot that television show in a small town in North Carolina, so it’s a very heightened experience when you’re away from all of your actual friends and family. We became each other’s everything in that time."
