Michelle Keegan wants her wedding guests to look "understated".
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress will marry fiancé Mark Wright this summer and is hoping their friends and family don’t arrive for their big day looking overdressed or outlandish.
She said: "I’d love my guests to wear something understated.
"I think it’s best to choose an outfit that complements your skin tone and figure.
"And it’s really important to be comfortable so wear something you’ll feel good partying in – right through into the evening."
And the brunette beauty is particularly keen to get her guests on the dancefloor, though she is also expecting some "emotional" musical moments too.
Asked what’s on her wedding playlist, she told Now magazine: "I love old-school songs that everyone from your friends to your grandma know – it’s great to get people on the dancefloor.
"I do get quite emotional at weddings, so I like the slow songs that mean something too."
Michelle will be hoping her big day goes more smoothly than her best friend’s did.
She recalled: "When my best friend got married, me and eight friends were bridesmaids. She started walking down the aisle and one of the bridesmaids stood on her veil and jolted her head back after she’d just had her hair done. Oops!
"Luckily it was fine in the end and no one noticed."
