Michelle Keegan tipped for sixth Sexiest Female award

Michelle Keegan is tipped to win her sixth Sexiest Female award at the British Soap Awards.

The ‘Coronation Street’ beauty may be bowing out of the ITV soap later this year but she looks set to walk away with a record-setting sixth win in the sexiest category at the annual TV awards ceremony in May.

Michelle is nominated for the gong alongside ‘Corrie’ co-star Georgia May Foote, ‘EastEnders’ star Jacqueline Jossa and ‘Hollyoaks’ actress Jorgie Porter.

‘EastEnders’ newcomer Danny Dyer leads the race to be crowned Sexiest Male along with ‘Hollyoaks’ heartthrob Ashley Taylor Dawson and ‘Corrie’ actor Marc Baylis.

Julie Hesmondhalgh is heavily tipped to be crowned Best Actress at the awards ceremony after exiting ‘Corrie’ in January in a heart-wrenching storyline which saw her character, Hayley Cropper, take her own life after suffering from cancer.

‘EastEnders’ returnee Lacey Turner is also in the Best Actress mix along with ‘Emmerdale’ stars Lucy Pargeter and Charley Webb.

The British Soap Awards has unveiled its long list of nominees for categories voted by the public, with first round voting now under way. The voting will end on April 22, with the short list then being unveiled.
