Michelle Keegan cuddles an old jumper in bed.
The ‘Ordinary Lies’ actress – who is engaged to former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Mark Wright – never goes anywhere without a sweater she has worn since she was 14 and always needs to have it with her to feel "comfortable" when she sleeps.
She said: "I like to carry my very embarrassing childhood jumper. I’ve had it since I was 14 and it makes me feel comfortable. I even sleep with it.
"Mark is really sweet. If I lose it in my sleep or it goes over to his side [of the bed], he passes it back to me.
"It gives him comfort knowing that I’ve got that with me at all times because then he knows I’m settled and comfortable. It’s called Fluff."
Despite being a regular fixture at glamorous events, Michelle hates walking the red carpet and feels "terrified" every time she has to step out.
She told Look magazine: "I like to be quite chilled and I just get really stressed [getting ready for the red carpet].
"I don’t really like the red carpet, it terrifies me.
"Everyone thinks it’s going to be amazing but when you get out there it’s just horrible. Once the red carpet part is out of the way, I can breathe again."
