Michelle Hardwick has revealed she "can’t stop eating" Squashies during her pregnancy.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star – who has played Vanessa Woodford in the ITV soap since 2012 – is expecting her first child with wife Kate Brooks, and she admitted her cravings have left her gorging on the foam-like chewy Drumstick sweets.
Taking to Twitter, she posted an embarrassed emoji and wrote: "I can’t stop eating sqashies #pregnancycravings (sic)"
Her followers were quick to weigh in with their own pregnancy cravings, while many other users joked they were simply "greedy" or treating themselves during the coronavirus pandemic.
One wrote: "At least you’ve got an excuse… i eat bags of them in one sitting on a normal day (sic)"
Another commented: "I can’t stop eating chocolate digestives #notpregnantjustgreedy (sic)"
Last month, the 44-year-old actress was delighted to announce she and Kate are set to become first time mums as they are welcoming their baby into the world in October.
Michelle wrote on her Instagram story: "Fred’s big brother duties commence in October #BabyBrooks (sic)"
She also posted the photo to her main Instagram account, adding the hashtag "#BabyBrooks" to her post.
Michelle has married Kate in September 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee, at the Chapel in the Woods, at the late, great Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate.
She wrote on Instagram: "In over 100 degrees heat, on Tuesday 10th September, I became Mrs Brooks #graceland #chapelinthewoods #memphis #nextstopnashville (sic)"
Michelle – who wore a white jumpsuit for the occasion, whilst Kate donned a white dress – and Kate travelled for more than 200 miles to Nashville for their honeymoon, where they checked into the Hutton Hotel and were delighted to be upgraded.
Michelle tweeted: "Thank you so much for our bubbly and upgrade to a suite @HuttonHotel. All your staff have been delightful (sic)"
