Michelle Collins hits back at Twitter trolls after private school ‘bullying’

Michelle Collins has hit back at trolls after being "vilified" for sending her daughter to private school.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress claims she has been "bullied" for splashing out on private education for her offspring Maia-Rose Collins, who is now 23, and she cannot believe the "nastiness" from some on social media.
She tweeted: "I m sorry I sent my daughter to a private school because that’s what worked for me and her at the time . Education is , was very Important to me . Am I now going to be vilified and bullied for it ? I can believe the nastiness on twitter and from people I even know ! (sic)"
Michelle’s former ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Charlie Condou – who played Marcus Dent from 2011 to 2014, when she starred as Stella Price – advised her to try to ignore the trolls.
He wrote: "Don’t apologise to anyone Michelle. F**k em. None of anyone’s business xx (sic)"
She replied: "Yes your right Charlie but it’. bloody makes me mad people just judge , judge , judge it’s not healthy ! (sic)"
Michelle then joked she should’ve just splurged the money on pricey clothes and designer bags instead.
She wrote: "Hope you well ? I should’ve just spent the money on myself expensive clothes , designer bags , holidays etc !!’ (sic)"
Charlie replied: "Haha you did that too babe. Love you xxx (sic)"
Michelle later returned to Twitter to reassure her fans she is "fine" following the abuse, and the 57-year-old star refuses to say sorry for her life choices.
She wrote: "I I am fine honestly I m a big girl now I m a surviver asi was when I was 18 in this pic ! I don’t let them get me down and I am so lucky that there are also a lot of good , decent , supportive people on here too I will no longer apologise for my choices in life . (sic)"
