Michael Barrymore still wants Dancing On Ice run

Michael Barrymore would "absolutely" return to ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The 67-year-old star had to pull out of this year’s series of the figure skating show after breaking his wrist in training, but he is still keen to give the competition another go in the future.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ on Monday (06.01.20), he said: "Yeah, absolutely – of course I would.
"It’s like getting back on a bike, you’ve gotta get rid of the fear you’ve just fallen off. I absolutely [would], it was such an amazing experience."
The veteran TV presenter and comedian – who has fronted the likes of ‘Strike It Lucky’ and ‘Kids Say the Funniest Things’ over the years – loved the experience and would have no hesitation about making a comeback.
He added: "That was the hardest show I’ve ever done, and possibly, to date, the most enjoyable – and I’ve done some stuff I’ve been very proud of. I was fitter and everything!"
Meanwhile, Michael joked he won’t ever work again on Friday the 13th after being injured on the supposedly unlucky day.
Asked if he’s a suspicious man, he quipped: "I didn’t realise at the time, but I am now!
"I’m not doing anything on Friday the 13th, I don’t care what the job is. If it’s meeting the Queen, I’m going to cancel."
And the star revealed he still wants to return to the spotlight on television, and he would like to be back on ‘This Morning’ to talk about mental health issues.
Asked about being back on TV, he said: "In some form in another – it’s not for me [to decide], it’s for those that choose to do it. I do [miss it a lot], I’ve got to be honest – I do."
