Mel B isn’t ready to end her family feud.
The former Spice Girl moved back to the UK from Australia earlier this year when it was announced she would appear as a judge on the latest series of ‘The X Factor’ but is yet to make up with her estranged mother Andrea and her sister Danielle.
Mel grew apart from her family six years ago after they labelled Mel’s film producer husband Stephen Belafonte "controlling" and has had little contact with the pair as well as her father Martin ever since.
A source told Britain’s Star magazine: "Mel’s family is keen to put past rows behind them – this rift has gone on too long and they used to be so close. Andrea would like to make amends, but Mel’s not sure that she is ready."
Andrea, 58, even tried to reach out to the star on Twitter to wish her a happy birthday when she turned 39 last month.
She wrote on the social networking site: "After 16hrs 59min labour a special little girl arrived still special to me 39yrs on happy birthday Melanie Luv MUM X.[sic]"
However Mel’s family don’t think a reunion will be taking place in the near future.
A family member explained: "A reconciliation is highly unlikely anytime soon."
