Mel B’s husband surprised her with a new £20,000 wedding ring.
The ‘X Factor’ and ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge has revealed her husband of seven years, Stephen Belafonte, treated her to a new diamond ring on the weekend after promising to upgrade it every three years.
Mel explained: "My husband turned up today and I thought something was wrong and then he just handed me this massive sparkler of a ring.
"I thought, ‘Oh m God’. It’s so big, it’s so gorgeous, I absolutely love it."
The 39-year-old former Spice Girls star – who has daughter Madison with Stephen – added that he had bought the rock from Leon Diamond jewellers in New York and flown all the way to the UK to present her with it.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He’s very sweet like that my husband. Every couple of years he gets me an upgrade."
Meanwhile, Mel – who also has daughters Angel and Phoenix Chi from previous relationships – has confessed ‘X Factor’ boss Simon Cowell has been in touch to tell her how well he thinks she’s doing on her first series of the talent show.
She explained: "Simon is very sweet, I woke up this morning to an amazing email from him. It was really long and he told me how proud he was of me.
"He said how thrilled he was that I was part of the ‘X Factor’ family and he thinks I’m doing great. That means a lot to me."
