Meghan Trainor’s crush on Ed Sheeran

Meghan Trainor wants to date Ed Sheeran.
The 22-year-old singer revealed she has a huge crush on the ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker and she would jump at the chance to go out with him.
She said: "I would love to be his date. He would wrap his arms around me, and we would just do that side thing."
While she would be thrilled if Ed, 25, asked her out, Meghan opened up about her worst chat up experience.
Speaking to KISS FM, she said: "I was in a club with my family, and it was one of my brother’s birthdays. We were on the dance floor, and my song came on – ‘All About the Bass’ – and this dude saw us having a great time. And he was like, ‘oh is this you singing’, and I was like, ‘dude, you’ve just taken my picture, five seconds ago’.
"Yeah, at first he tried to dance with me, and I’m like, ‘no, I’m cool, I have my brother, we’re gonna dance over here’.
"And then he started taking pictures of me, and I was like, ‘you don’t have to’, and he was like, ‘oh are you a singer’. And I was like, ‘oh, well, you know’."
Meanwhile, Meghan also revealed she is eyeing up Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s place on ‘X Factor’ after the judge quit this week, saying: "I would love to. I would love to do it; I want to do it so bad. I’m gonna do it, I will, I promise."
