Megan McKenna has confirmed she has split from Pete Wicks.
The ‘Ex on the Beach’ star took to Twitter on Tuesday evening (14.03.17) to confirm she had gone her separate ways from the ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star and had been for some time.
She wrote on the microblogging site: "I was keeping quiet out of respect for him. But as he’s been ‘blabbing’ and bragging about other Tv shows I will now confirm we are OVER …
"And have been over for a while. End of the speculations. Now let me move on with my life. Thanks. (sic)"
It comes after Pete opened up about the end of his relationship as he attended the TRIC Awards.
He said: "I’m here with James [Lock] today so you can probably guess my relationship status from that. Megan is a good girl but it’s always complicated with her. It’s all about to play out on the show. We are both happy at the minute – things are just complicated."
And Pete had clearly moved on from Megan as he confessed he would love to star on ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I’d definitely like to do ‘Celebs Go Dating’ but there are other TV shows I’m lined up for too."
At the event, Megan also admitted things were "a bit complicated" but mainly kept quiet over it.
She shared: "It’s a bit complicated at the moment. I don’t really know what else to say about it."
Meanwhile, Megan previously confessed things were "complicated" between them after Pete pulled out of appearing on ‘This Morning’ with her on Friday (03.03.17).
She said: "It’s complicated at the moment with me and him. It’s not the best time for us to be together.
"I’d be professional. Out of respect for each other we won’t speak about each other. But right now it’s complicated."
