Mayim Bialik grateful to have a ‘wonderful’ ex-husband

Mayim Bialik is "tremendously grateful" to have such a "wonderful" ex-husband.
The ‘Big Bang Theory’ star split from her husband of nine years, Michael Stone, in 2013 but is glad they have been able to keep things civil for the sake of their two children Frederick, eight, and Miles, 10.
She said: "I’m a working mom and every night when I’m working, he’s the one feeding them dinner, giving them a bath, reading them goodnight stories, tucking them in and making sure they sleep well.
"The best thing I can do is be tremendously grateful for what a wonderful ex-husband I have and what a great dad he is and to continue to shatter the image of the perfect family I thought my intact family would be."
The 40-year-old actress admits there are still things about Michael that annoy her but insists they work hard to always put their children first.
Speaking in a vlog posted to her YouTube account, she added: "Being divorced is not a fun way to raise kids. Things my ex did when we were married that annoyed me then, annoy me still.
"Life is not a dress rehearsal. My kids get one chance to be kids and this is their situation. I have to put them first because I’m their mom and he’s their dad."
Meanwhile, Mayim previously admitted she thinks actors are "overpaid".
She said: "I don’t make as much money as people think I do. I don’t think about the money a lot. I am an employed actor and we are all overpaid. I am grateful to be employed. But I still need to think about what is next and I think about it a lot.
"I don’t think the pay has anything to do with the quality of the show. We have an extraordinary cast and amazing writing staff and people all care passionately about putting on a show every week."
