Matthew McConaughey had wonderful Olympics

Matthew McConaughey had a "wonderful experience" at the Olympics.
The 46-year-old actor has just returned to the US after a week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and he and his wife, Camila Alves, made sure they got to see as much of the sporting spectacle as they possibly could.
He said: "I was there for one week and it feels like I saw enough to be there for a month.
"My wife and I jammed in as much as we could. From the beach, Copa Cabana, back to the Olympic Village and back again 10 times."
But the ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’ star admitted he and his Brazilian spouse – who have children Levi, eight, Vida, six, and Livingston, three, together – ended up cheering on the events from separate areas when they saw their home countries face off in different disciplines.
Matthew told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "They kinda buzzsawed us [in the beach volleyball], they won that one pretty cleanly.
"Then we had some swimming events where there was the Brazilians versus the Americans. I came out on top of those.
"I was in the American cheering section with all the other American swimmers, so when a Brazilian was in the race, she made sure to get out of that section to go hang out with the Brazilians."
The Oscar-winning actor returned to the US for the premiere of his new movie, stop-motion animated adventure ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’ – which also features Charlize Theron, Ralph Fiennes, Rooney Mara and George Takei – and Matthew admitted he was attracted to the project because he’d never made a movie that was suitable for his children to see.
He said: "I kept getting asked by friends, ‘What films have you done that your kids love the most?’ and I said, ‘They haven’t been able to watch any yet.’
"So that was part of the reason I was looking for something to do with an animated character."
