Matt Evers claims Jason Gardiner did sell stories on Gemma Collins

Dancing On Ice’s Matt Evers claims Jason Gardiner has been selling stories on Gemma Collins.
While the 42-year-old professional skater agreed with the 47-year-old judge’s criticisms about his routine with Gemma, 37, on Sunday (20.01.19), he has sparked further speculation that the acid-tongue choreographer did indeed sell stories about her, as she accused him of doing so last night.
Speaking on Heart’s ‘Breakfast with Jamie and Lucy’ radio show – which is hosted by Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin – he said: "First and foremost I will defend Jason yes there wasn’t a lot of content. I didn’t have a lot of rehearsal time with her this past week. He was absolutely correct saying that, as well as the other judges on that part.
"However, word has it he did sell a couple of stories this week and she went for gold. It was spicy.
"Basically when it comes to ‘DOI’ you have a choice to either go through ITV press office to release interviews and kinda release statements and things like that, it’s a bit controlled but people know what’s happening.
"Thursday the story came out that she was a disgrace to humanity and lack of a better term."
Jamie asked: "That he had said that?"
The dancer then replied: "Yeah, and basically ITV then came to us because she was really upset by it, and said it didn’t come from our camp that came from Jason himself. Word on the street it was him."
The former ‘Top of the Pops’ host then questioned: "Do you think there is substance that he has been selling stories?"
Matt: "It sounds like it."
Earlier this week, Jason called Gemma "lazy" and "mediocre."
He said: "I can always see who’s lazy. Gemma is lazy. She doesn’t look like her heart is in it at all."
But the bookies don’t expect Gemma to be heading off the ice anytime soon.
Ladbrokes have made the ex-‘TOWIE’ star a 5/1 shot to depart the competition next weekend, putting her behind Saira Khan (6/4), Didi Conn (5/2) and Ryan Sidebottom (3/1) in the betting.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "She’s continuing to make headlines and the latest odds suggest The GC won’t be leaving the ice any time soon."
