Mary Berry: Paul Hollywood’s ‘quite sexy’

Mary Berry thinks Paul Hollywood is "quite sexy".
The former ‘Great British Bake Off’ judge has joked that her former co-star is quite good looking but said not to tell him or it’d give him an ego boost.
Asked if he was as "sexy as he looks", Mary quipped whilst attending an event in London: "I think you should be the judge of that" … He is quite sexy, but for goodness sake don’t tell him."
It comes after Paul claimed Mary "abandoned" the ‘Great British Bake Off’, when she chose not to move with the show when it was snatched from the BBC by Channel 4.
He said: "The girls abandoned it. But I was the one put under siege. I became the most hated man in the country! It’s not fun for someone that doesn’t like being in the limelight. I didn’t set out to be on the telly, I set out to be a good baker. And I didn’t want this.
"There are people who can’t get past channel one, the older generation, who don’t understand how that works. They only flick a couple of buttons and it takes three clicks to watch Channel 4."
However, Mary – who was replaced on the popular baking show by Prue Leith – insists the revamped version of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ is "brilliant".
She shared: "I have looked at it yes, and I have to say it’s a wonderful format. It’s a wonderful creation that programme, and it’s followed the same lines. It continues to be brilliant.
"I was with it seven years and I loved it but I’ve gone on to pastures new and Prue Leith – she knows her stuff – and she and Paul will continue to be brilliant judges. I have spoken to Prue, I wished her well and she said she’s thoroughly enjoying it and who wouldn’t? It’s a wonderful job."
