Marvin and Rochelle Humes back Megan for X Factor success

Marvin and Rochelle Humes are backing Megan McKenna to win ‘The X Factor: Celebrity’
The famous couple – who married in 2012 after two years of dating – revealed they were surprised by how talented the former ‘TOWIE’ star was when she auditioned on the show in October and they are confident she will go all the way.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Rochelle said: "Megan is very good!"
Megan – who released her debut album ‘Story of Me’ in 2018 – has impressed the nation with her talent as she continues to sing her original songs on the ITV show, and Marvin hasn’t been surprised to see her LP rise up the charts now the live shows have kicked off.
Capital radio host Marvin – – whose pop band JLS finished as runners-up on ‘The X Factor’ in 2008 – said: "I think she is quite high on the iTunes chart. She was great."
Megan – who has also appeared on the likes of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, and ‘Celebs Go Dating’ – has previously said she is keen to move away from television to focus on her music career, and she hopes Simon Cowell’s talent show will be a big step in the right direction.
She explained: "Hopefully this can be my crossover point, where people stop thinking of me as a reality star and start thinking of me as a musician.
"I want people to see that I’m not just about reality TV – music is what I’ve always wanted to do."
Meanwhile, presenting pair Marvin and Rochelle admitted their daughters "don’t care" that their parents are singers and television presenters.
When asked if his daughters think he’s cool, Marvin – who has girls Alaia-Mai, six, and Valentina, two – said: "I don’t know! When I start singing in the house, my two year old says ‘Daddy, stop it!’, so I think I’m already embarrassing to her. Whereas with Alaia, I’m sometimes cool in her eyes, and sometimes I might not be. She knows what we do for a living, but she doesn’t care."
