Marty McKenna returning to Geordie Shore?

Marty McKenna looks set to return to ‘Geordie Shore’ – just months after claiming he had been "sacked".
The 23-year-old reality TV star is said to have been lined up for a return by show bosses to "cause some drama" between his ex Chloe Ferry, 22, and her boyfriend, ‘Love Island’ star Sam Gowland, 22, who have been dating since October.
A show insider told The Sun Online: "Show bosses are hoping Marty’s return will ruffle some feathers and cause some drama between the couple, especially considering his history with Chloe."
This comes after Marty claimed in September he had been axed from the programme and hadn’t been told to his face about his departure.
He wrote on Twitter: "So I won’t be going back to @mtvgeordieshore as I’ve been sacked according to a few people. F***** in thing is a liftin beg from @mtvex.
"Yeah mate funny how everyone else know before f****** me. (sic)"
Marty and co-star Scotty T were removed from the infamous abode in May after the pair infuriated show bosses with their erratic behaviour, and they were also banned from joining up with the cast for last summer’s special in Italy.
A source said at the time: "Marty is just as bad if not worse than Scotty. He parties hard and it can get too much at times.
"He didn’t fly out to Italy with the cast as producers had already made their minds up and knew he wouldn’t be continuing for the rest of the series."
Earlier this year, Marnie Simpson was said to have quit the show after five years to start a "new chapter" in her life.
A source said: "Marnie has loved her time on ‘Geordie Shore’ but it’s time for her to move on.
"She will still be around for this series but that’s it – she won’t return for the next.
"Her contact lens business is massively popular too.
"She’s loved her time on ‘Geordie Shore’ and it’s given her an incredible platform, but now she wants to move on and start new chapter in her life."
