Mark Wright lands reporter role on US show Extra

Mark Wright has reportedly been hired as a reporter on the American programme ‘Extra’.
The 30-year-old television presenter is believed to have landed a "massive gig" in the US after his recent visit to Los Angeles, which will see him assist on the production side of the show as well as report on events during his time on the programme.
Speaking about the former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star’s upcoming venture to The Sun Online, a source said: "This is a massive gig for Mark.
"It will put him in the homes of ¬millions of Americans every day.
"He’s been out in LA for the past few weeks having meetings with the major networks and all the noises are very positive."
And the dark-haired hunk – who is married to ‘Our Girl’ actress Michelle Keegan – is hopeful his new position will "go well", and will enable him to land "more work" across the pond.
The source continued: "He’s hoping it will go well so that more work in the States follows."
It is rumoured the ‘The Dengineers’ co-host’s first task will see him visit the set of former One Direction band member Niall Horan’s music video and report behind the scenes for the channel.
And if the project is to go ahead Mark will accompany former ‘Save By The Bell’ actor Mario Lopez, ‘The Other Woman’ actress and model Olivia Culpo, as well as presenter Terri Seymour on the American entertainment show.
However, Mark is not the only member from the Wright family to be venturing into projects further afield, as his 31-year-old sister Jess Wright – who quit the ITVBe reality show in 2016 – has signed with Dannii Minogue’s agent John Ferriter in a bid to crack America as well.
