Mark Wright has been eliminated from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The television personality was booted out of the BBC One dancing show during tonight’s (20.12.14) live final, after receiving the least public votes.
Speaking after his exit, Mark said: "It’s gonna be sad to go. I’m boring everyone – but this has been the best experience of my life.
"I’m so overwhelmed by the support at home and the public, my family, the judges, all my friends, the contestants, you guys. I can’t tell you – ‘Strictly’ is the best thing anyone can ever do and I’ve loved every minute of it."
Karen Hauer, the 27-year-old’s dancing partner, was full of praise for the former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star.
She said: "You have shined on that dance floor.
"You are a best friend and you are now a dancer, my friend."
Mark – who is engaged to ex-‘Coronation Street’ star Michelle Keegan, 27 – also spoke highly of his dancing professional.
He said: "I’m just gonna say, she is like the most diamond girl you’ll ever meet. She’s taught me anything that I would ever ever have dreamt to have known in dance.
"I couldn’t dance for toffee – we all knew that. Her hard work and commitment and patience – she puts up with a lot. She got me to the final – what?"
Caroline Flack, Frankie Bridge and Simon Webbe will now perform their favourite dance from the series as they fight to be crowned ‘Strictly Come Dancing’s 2014 champion.
