Sir Paul McCartney says he’s still writing songs with the same rule‑dodging, wide‑eyed mischief he had as a teenager.

Mark Wahlberg’s priority is his family

Mark Wahlberg says being a father is his number one priority.
The ‘Daddy’s Home’ star – who has daughters Ella, 12 and Grace, six, and sons Brendan, seven and Michael, 10, with his wife Rhea Durham – doesn’t chose movie roles which he thinks could affect his family.
When asked if being a spiritual person affected which roles he chose, he told Men’s Fitness magazine: "Absolutely. And also being a dad. And a husband. What I’m willing to do and not do. I never want to compromise my artistic integrity. But at the same time, with [playing a porn star in] ‘Boogie Nights’, I already did that. I’d be hard-pressed to do something in that world today …
"Sometimes you have no control [over a film’s success]. Once you’ve done everything you can to create something, it goes out there and it either works or doesn’t. At the end of the day I just know I did everything I could do to make it the best it would be. Then you gotta be able to move on. Let it go."
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old actor previously revealed he has his boxing obsession to thank for helping him get in shape for his roles in ‘Broken City’ and ‘Pain & Gain’.
When asked how he transforms his body shape so quickly, he said: "A liquid diet, running, jumping rope. Mostly jumping rope. Jumping rope is for me a lot more fun than running the treadmill, or even running out in the open.
"It’s more rhythmic. You can change the speeds. It’s a great part of boxing training. And I’m obsessed with boxing."
And when starring as former professional boxer Micky Ward in 2010’s ‘The Fighter’, Mark suffered a few minor "nicks and bumps and bruises".
He revealed: "I picked up a lot of nicks and bumps and bruises. I almost got my nose broken a couple of times. But nothing that would have stopped production.
"We basically lied to the insurance company and told them we weren’t going to be hitting each other and then went in there and that’s all we did."
