Margot Robbie thought Neighbours was highest point of her career

Margot Robbie thought ‘Neighbours’ would be the height of her success.
The 29-year-old actress made her name on the iconic Australian soap when she played Donna Freedman from 2008 to 2011, and she admitted being on the show felt like the pinnacle of her career at the time.
She told Variety: "I didn’t think there was higher than that for me."
Margot – who was born and raised in Queensland – shot to fame on the Melbourne-based programme, but she previously admitted producers weren’t too impressed with her strong accent when she first started on set.
She said: "I am a Queenslander, and my accent was so Australian that ‘Neighbours’ hired a dialect coach to make me sound less Australian.
"So that was all part of the process of moving to America. Before that the idea of being in Hollywood, I did think you had to be born into it or had to know someone in the industry."
Since leaving the soap, Margot has gone on to star in the likes of ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, ‘Suicide Squad’, ‘Peter Rabbit’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.
Despite her huge big screen success, the actress hasn’t forgotten her roots and in the past she made it clear she would be willing to reprise the role of Donna.
Asked if she’d go back to ‘Neighbours’, she said: "Yeah, I think I would, totally. We could get the whole gang back together."
The blonde beauty – who was 17 when she landed the part – certainly has a lot of respect for the long-running show, and in the past she has thanked the show’s cast for helping her to mature.
She explained: "I was pretty much living on Froot Loops for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everyone was like ‘OK, you will come over to my house’ … Susan Kennedy [Jackie Woodburne] would invite me over once a week and cook me a roast, and Toadie, or Ryan who plays Toadie, helped me do my taxes!"
