Margot Robbie accepted Suicide Squad part without seeing the script

Margot Robbie accepted a role in ‘Suicide Squad’ without even seeing the script.
The Australian actress stars as Harley Quinn in the much-anticipated new movie based on the DC Comics and Margot admitted it was the lure of working with director David Ayer that convinced her to accept the part.
She said: "I never really thought to myself, ‘Oh, I want to be in a comic-book movie’. When I first about it I was about to do a different project, and they said, ‘Before you sign on for that, would you consider playing Harley Quinn?’
"I was like, ‘Okay, can I read the script?’ And they were like, ‘There’s no script.’ ‘Okay, is there anyone attached?’ ‘No one attached.’ ‘… Is there a director?’ ‘Yeah, David Ayer.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I’m in!’ And that was kind of it!"
Margot admitted that while she never harboured any specific ambitions to make a comic-book movie, the presence of the acclaimed director – who has previously helmed ‘Harsh Times’, ‘Street Kings’, ‘End of Watch’, ‘Sabotage’ and ‘Fury’ – convinced her to take the plunge on this occasion.
She told SciFiNow magazine: "I didn’t sign on to do a comic-book movie, nor had I ever expected to. But if I was to do it, David was the guy I wanted to work with."
Meanwhile, Margot recently revealed she feels "embarrassed" when she’s naked on set.
The ‘Legend of Tarzan’ actress is considered to be one Hollywood’s most beautiful women but Margot still feels self-conscious when she has to flash her flesh.
She said: "When I film, I don’t think about the fact that a film is going to come out. If I have to do something embarrassing, I’m embarrassed to do it in front of, say, 100 crew members.
"If I have to be in a bikini, I’m thinking, ‘Oh God, they’re going to see me in a bikini.’ Then, 18 months later, millions of people will see it, and I forget."
