Marcel Somerville will ‘regret’ cheating on Gabby Allen ‘forever’

Marcel Somerville will "regret" cheating on his girlfriend Gabby Allen "forever."
The ‘Love Island’ babe dumped the Blazin’ Squad singer yesterday (01.05.18) after she found out that he’d been unfaithful behind her back during their romantic Mexican break in February and, although he has admitted he’s "sad" he has broken her heart, he has claimed their relationship was in a "bad place" at the time he strayed.
A spokesperson for Marcel told the MailOnline: "Sadly the rumours are true, Gabby and Marcel have split up. Marcel can’t really defend his actions as he knows he did wrong and will regret it forever.
"Marcel is upset that he broke the heart of someone he loves and someone that he shared so many special moments with, but with all the good times there are difficult times, and sadly Marcel and Gabby had been in a bad place at this stage.
"Gabby was a special part of my Marcel’s life, and he hopes one day she can find it in herself to forgive him. He knows what he did was wrong and is extremely sad about how he has hurt Gabby."
Gabby took to Instagram this morning (02.05.18) to thank her family and friends for their support after a woman reached out to her on social media and claimed she had slept with Marcel in Mexico after he messaged her to arrange to meet up.
The 26-year-old beauty wrote: "Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, love and support.
"It’s been tough couple of days, I think I might still be in a bit of shock! But I’m sure in time I will be OK. I have the best family and friends around me. I’m a lucky girl. (sic)"
The now-former couple met one another in the ‘Love Island’ villa last summer and were one of the very few remaining pairs to stay together after the show ended.
The pair raised eyebrows over the authenticity of their relationship on the programme as Gabby refused to sleep with the 32-year-old star until they were off camera.
However, their romance heated up very quickly and they moved in together.
BANG Showbiz have reached out to Marcel and Gabby’s agents for comment.
