Major Lazer’s new LP features Sia and Usher

Diplo has revealed Usher, Sia and MØ are among artists featured on the new Major Lazer record.
The 37-year-old DJ – who is one-third of the electronic music trio, also comprised of Jillionaire and Walshy Fire – has revealed the guest vocals to expect on their fourth studio album ‘Music Is the Weapon’, which is expected to drop early next year.
Asked who will be on the hotly-anticipated album, he said: "Definitely we have Usher on it, MØ’s back on songs, we have a song with Sam Hunt which is very unusual but I love him. Travi$ Scott…Sia is on a couple ideas but one of the records might be her record. She’s definitely background vocals on a song for sure."
However, those expecting their much-lauded collaboration with The Weeknd may be disappointed as Diplo admitted it’s more likely to be released on the ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ hitmaker’s next album.
Meanwhile, Diplo said he decided to drop ‘Cold Water’ with Justin Bieber – which was co-written by Ed Sheeran and co-produced by Benny Blanco – early because of the lack of summer bangers this year.
He told Zane Lowe on his Apple Beats 1 Radio: "This summer’s been kind of slow for some music, so we thought, ‘Let’s put out a single – we gotta give the people something.
"Drake and Rihanna killed it this year, but that record came out a while ago – there hasn’t really been a summer vibe."
‘Music is the Weapon’ is the follow-up to 2015 LP ‘Peace Is This Mission’.
