Maisie Williams gets Game of Thrones tattoo

Maisie Williams is getting a tattoo in tribute to ‘Game of Thrones’.
The 21-year-old actress has starred as Arya Stark in the hit HBO fantasy drama from its first episode in 2011, and after production on the upcoming eighth and final series – which will air in 2019 – wrapped earlier this year, she has revealed she will get an inking dedicated to her beloved character.
In the show, Arya was conditioned to think of herself as "no one" during her assassin training, and so Maisie has decided to get the phrase tattooed.
Taking to her Instagram Story, she posted a picture of the stencil of her design, alongside the needle that would perform the inking.
She wrote: "guess who is getting "No One" tattoo (sic)"
This isn’t the first ‘GoT’ themed tattoo the star has either, as she and her co-star and best friend Sophie Turner – who plays her sister Sansa Stark – got matching tattoos back in 2016 to commemorate the day they were both hired to play their epic roles.
Maisie previously bid goodbye to the show earlier this month when she took to Instagram to brand herself as "the last woman standing".
She wrote: "goodbye belfast. goodbye arya. goodbye game of thrones. what a joy i’ve had. here’s to the adventures to come #lastwomanstanding #barely #immasleepforthenextfouryears #justkiddingidontsleep (sic)"
It is still unknown whether she was giving spoilers toward the fate of the other women on the show, or if she was simply the last female to film her scenes.
Meanwhile, Maisie previously opened up about her devastation at the show ending because she "felt like the same person" with her on-screen character for a long time.
She said: "The hardest thing about the show ending is that I’ll never get to be Arya again. For a long time, we felt like the same person, but now that I’m older, I’ve grown into a different person and found other sides to my personality. But I do wish she shaped me to be more fearless in the industry. Honestly, no matter what else I work on, I’ll miss playing her."
