‘Made in Chelsea’s Alex Mytton thinks the show helped him rebuild his friendship with Binky Felstead after their split.
The 24-year-old reality TV star was dumped by the brunette beauty two years ago after he cheated on her but he believes they probably wouldn’t have rekindled their bond if the show hadn’t pushed them to come face-to-face with one another.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Alex said: "When I broke up with Binky, it kind of speeds things up like we became friends quite quickly and that’s because when you’re filming you spend so much time together and you’re forced to face the issue, which you might not do in normal life."
The former couple have both moved on and are now dating new people – Alex is with Nicola Hughes and Binky is with Josh ‘JP’ Patterson – and the hunk is thrilled they can now hold discussions about their love lives without tension.
He explained: "I don’t have a soft spot for Binky in a romantic sense but we went through a lot so it was nice to be friends with her again and for her to talk to me about what’s going on with her and JP and me and Nicola. It doesn’t feel awkward."
