Macklemore wants to slow down to spend more time with his family

Macklemore wants to "slow down" to spend more time with his daughter.
The ‘Good Old Days’ hitmaker found it difficult leaving his little girl so soon after she arrived into the world so he could go on tour but he is looking forward to the day he can "hone in on family life" more.
He told FAULT magazine: "It’s strange to spend eight days with my newborn and then to leave and go on tour. It’s tough to look at pictures. I feel like I’m missing something, and in a way, I don’t even know my baby yet.
"I’ve been away from her more than I’ve been there and it’s hard, but FaceTime is a beautiful thing in the meantime. My baby wasn’t planned so we’re adjusting, and people have been doing this forever so I am looking forward to eventually slowing down and just honing in on family life and being a dad for a good while."
Macklemore – who already has two-year-old daughter Sloane with his wife Tricia – confirmed they were expecting their second child in a unique Instagram video back in September last year, in which he said they would find out the sex of their child on camera by cutting open a gender reveal cake.
Typically, gender reveal cakes contain blue or pink frosting but this one instead had a piece of paper, which announced he would be adding an additional date to his tour.
He said: "I woke up today, and I had an idea. You guys have been such a huge part of our lives, that I wanted to let you in on a little secret. Tricia is pregnant, and today we’re going to find out the gender of our child. We’re having a second night at Key Arena! Oh my god! Key Arena night two, tickets on sale tomorrow!"
