Machine Gun Kelly: Eminem misfired on Killshot

Machine Gun Kelly thinks Eminem misfired on his comeback diss track ‘Killshot’.
The rappers have been locked in a feud ever since the latter hit out at the ‘Bad Things’ hitmaker on the track ‘Not Alike’ on his surprise LP ‘Kamikaze’ last month, and showing no signs of backing down, Kelly took to Instagram on Monday (17.09.18) to slam the song.
On ‘Killshot’, the 45-year-old hip-hop star raps: "But I’m 45 and I’m still outselling you / By 29 I had three albums that had blew / Now let’s talk about somethin’ I don’t really do / Go in someone’s daughter’s mouth stealin’ food (sic)"
And in reaction, Kelly, 28, posted a picture of himself on stage on Instagram, and wrote: "he missed. #legshot #rapdevilstillNUMBERONE #letstalkaboutit (sic)"
The song was a response to Kelly’s track ‘Rap Devil’, which includes the line: "Took you six years and a surprise album just to come with a diss
Homie we get it, we know that you’re the greatest rapper alive (sic)"
Eminem recently admitted he first dissed Kelly because he accused him of hindering his career.
The ‘River’ rapper explained that he released ‘Not Alike’, which includes the line, "Now you wanna come and f**k with me, huh? / This little c**k-sucker, he must be feeling himself", after his rival rapped about banning him from his radio station ‘Shade 45’ and claimed he was trying to meddle with his success.
However, he insisted that he’s not interested in the Kelly’s career, whilst he added fuel to the fire by saying there are "better" rappers out there than him.
In the second part of his YouTube interview with musician Sway, the ‘Without Me’ hitmaker explained: "The reason that I dissed him is because he got on – first he said, ‘I’m the greatest rapper alive since my favourite rapper banned me from ‘Shade 45,’ or whatever he said, right? Like I’m trying to hinder his career.
"I don’t give a f**k about your career. You think I actually f***in’ think about you? You know how many f***in’ rappers that are better than you? You’re not even in the f***in’ conversation."
However, in the same interview he did admit that he thought ‘Red Devil’ was quite good, saying: "It wasn’t bad for him. He’s got some good lines in it."
Eminem previously admitted his beef with Kelly isn’t about him calling his daughter Hailie "hot as f**k" in 2012.
He teased that his problem with the young star is "a lot more petty" than anything he’s ever said about the 22-year-old beauty on Twitter, after he hit back with ‘Not Alike’.
He explained: "You know you go down the wormhole of YouTube and whatever, right?
"So I see, ‘Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem’s daughter’ or whatever, right? So I’m like, ‘What the f***?’ I clicked on it. Then he starts doing a press run, basically, about Hailie. I’m like, ‘What the f***? Yo, my man better chill.’
"So, that’s not why I dissed him. The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that. Now I’m in this f***in’ weird thing, because I’m like, ‘I’ve got to answer this motherf***er.’"
