Mabel performs despite getting run over

Mabel managed to perform live hours after getting run over by a car.
The ‘Fine Line’ singer was on her way to Spotify UK’s ‘Who We Be’ event at O2 Academy Birmingham in West Midlands, UK, last night (14.06.18), when a moving vehicle drove over her foot.
However, the rising star still gave "her all" and completed the gig after getting the go-ahead from a doctor, though she was forced to sit on a stool to rest her minor injury for the entire set.
Thanking gig-goers for coming along to see her, she wrote on Twitter: "Thank you to everyone who came to watch me perform at the @SpotifyUK show in Birmingham tonight and BIGGUP all the artists on the line up! A car ran over my foot outside the venue earlier today, but I still gave it my all for you each and every one of you (sic)"
The event also saw Yungen, Nines, Sneakbo, Jaykae, Ms Banks perform.
The sold-out venue was treated to special guests, ‘Barking’ hitmaker Ramz, Birmingham duo Lotto Boyz, award-winning producer Steel Banglez and rising star Koomz.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old singer – who is the daughter of Neneh Cherry and Massive Attack’s Cameron McVey – recently admitted she would love to collaborate with Camila Cabello.
The ‘Finders Keeper’ singer exclusively told BANG Showbiz "I love Camila I think she’s amazing, I think that would be cool.
"It’s a good time to meet people; obviously I think collaborations you know they should all happen naturally. So it’s nice to actually meet people and talk to them about music."
The Who We Be live event, which takes inspiration from the Spotify playlist of the same name, saw the best of street sounds music under one roof.
