Lydia Bright would be "really embarrassed" if James ‘Arg’ Argent proposed to her on TV.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star has confessed she’d be mortified if her "childhood sweetheart", whom she got back together with on the series finale of the ITVBe show on Sunday (05.04.15), popped the question live on air.
Asked on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’ what she’d do if he showed up and proposed in front of the cameras, Lydia said: "Oh my gosh if he did it here I would be really embarrassed, I would end up probably running off."
Lydia agreed to get back with Arg – who spent time in rehab following his suspension from TOWIE last year – after asking him to write her a letter listing every time he’d cheated on her in the past.
And she now insists they’ve put their problems behind them.
She shared: "Do you know what? We are like childhood sweethearts, we have been together for a long time and we met each other when we were kids so I think that you know, we are always going to have that connection and I’m really happy right now."
However, the blonde beauty insists she’s not yet ready to walk down the aisle despite both her and James claiming they want to grow old together.
She added: "I’m still quite young at the moment, I’m 24. Naturally, as relationships progress, that’s probably the way it will lead. Scary!"
