Luke Pasqualino doesn’t know if he’ll appear in the third series of ‘Our Girl’.
The 26-year-old hunk won over the hearts of the nation when his alter-ego Special Forces Officer Elvis Harte saved his ex-girlfriend Georgie Lane (Michelle Keegan) from being shot by the Taliban – a Sunni Islamic fundamentalist political movement – in the second installment of the gripping romantic war drama, but he has admitted he’s still in discussions with producers about whether he’ll be included in the next script this year.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I don’t know if I’m doing the third series of ‘Our Girl’. I don’t know if it’s happening yet. I know the show has been recommissioned for another series and stuff but we’re still in talks about whether I’m going to be involved or not. But it’s still going to be a great show whether I’m part of it or not. So I’m very excited to see what’s going to happen."
However, the hunk – who recently split from Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards – thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Michelle and the pair are now "good friends."
He explained: "She’s great, she’s awesome, she’s a professional. She’s a very good friend of mine now and she’s a pleasure to work with."
However, even if Luke doesn’t get signed for the next series of the drama thriller, he should have no trouble finding other work as he’s currently in demand across the pond after he recently shot a series called ‘Snatch’ in the United States.
He said: "I’ve just finished shooting a series called ‘Snatch’ for Sony Crackle in the States so that’s due to air in America on March 16."
