‘EastEnders’ actress Luisa Bradshaw-White is set to marry her partner Annette Yeo with their adopted daughters present.
The 40-year-old actress – who plays lesbian Tina Carter in the BBC soap – will share a wedding service with their two adopted teenage children, following the legalisation of same-sex marriage in the UK in 2014.
She said: "We had a civil partnership nine years ago but my diamond ring got stolen two years ago.
"Then the new laws regarding gay marriage came in and we thought we really should do it because equal rights had been given to gay people.
"I knew Nettie was planning on asking me to marry her. In fact, on the night she did it one of our daughters said: ‘Mummy is going to ask you to marry her!’ I heard them both whispering with cheeky smiles: ‘Have a lovely night, Mummy!’ as we left!"
Luisa also revealed the prominent role her two daughters will play in the ceremony.
She told British OK! magazine: "They’ll both be bridesmaids. One wanted to get involved in which style of dress we’ll wear and the other one wanted to design the cake, so she’ll be making cupcakes with a friend of ours."
