Lucy Mecklenburgh has acknowledged the value of rest and relaxation as she prepares for the arrival of her baby boy.
The 28-year-old TV star is heavily pregnant with her first child and after recently heading into hospital in the expectation of giving birth, Lucy has taken to Instagram to offer advice to other expectant mothers.
Alongside a photograph of herself in a hospital bed, Lucy – who has been dating actor Ryan Thomas since 2017 – wrote: "Not just yet baby boy [love heart emoji]
"We thought I may be induced yesterday but luckily with further tests. Me and baby boy are going home to rest and get over this awful cold hopefully before Labour
"I’m on blood pressure tablets & need to up my iron intake.. Advice to stubborn mothers to be (like me!) .. please rest as much as possible at the end. I have thought I’m invincible and want to do everything! Work, social engagements and nesting overload at home! I don’t really sit still
"But listen to your body and rest as and when u can! #37weekspregnant"
Meanwhile, Ryan previously revealed Lucy "threw up" everywhere after accepting his proposal.
The loved-up couple got engaged on a romantic trip to Italy, and Ryan subsequently confessed he had to hold his beau’s "hair back" whilst she was sick because she was so "overwhelmed" with his proposal.
He said: "For some reason we thought it would be a great idea to go to a nightclub. We got there and immediately regretted it so walked back out again and went to a beach bar. And then she threw up!"
