Lucy-Jo Hudson reveals baby name meaning

Lucy-Jo Hudson has revealed the meaning behind her son’s middle name.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress – who welcomed baby boy Carter Ray with her partner Lewis Devine in February – wanted their son to have a connection with her six-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae, whom she has with ex-husband Alan Halsall.
She told OK! magazine: "As her full name is Sienna-Rae, [Lewis] thought if we gave Carter the middle name Ray it would connect them a bit more.
"It was such a lovely idea – Sienna was beaming when she found out."
Lucy-Jo – who plays Donna Marie Quinn on the Channel 4 soap – also opened up about the challenges she faces when it comes to co-parenting with her ex and former ‘Corrie’ co-star Alan.
She said: "Me and Alan sometimes have different views on raising Sienna so trying to co-parent can be challenging.
"It’s probably like that for a lot of blended families … but Lewis and I try to keep things like that very private.
"Sienna isn’t aware of what happened and all that matters is that she has loving parents on both sides."
Back in February, Lucy-Jo took to her Instagram Story to confirm she and Lewis had welcomed a baby boy into the world.
She said: "When 3 became 4. 18.2.2020."
And in another Story, she added: "We are so in love with our baby boy!!! Our family is now complete!
"Love you @lewisdevine (sic)"
Lewis wrote on his own Instagram: "Wow what an experience. We are so happy to announce that our little bundle of joy has arrived safe and sound and we are all back home now and settling in great.
"Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister just like I knew she would.
"I am so proud of Lucy-Jo seeing her carry him for 9 months and then bring him into the world the way she did it was just unbelievable and a memory and feeling that will last forever love you all so much. (sic)"
