Lucy Fallon ‘loves’ first pole dancing lesson

Lucy Fallon has started pole dancing lessons after being inspired by her ‘Coronation Street’ character.
The 22-year-old actress – who plays Bethany Platt in the soap – took to her Instagram account to share a picture of herself doing the splits on a pole as part of her first fitness class at the Kelly Amelia Fitness Studio in Blackpool, and despite posing in the painful-looking position, she really enjoyed herself.
She captioned the eye-watering image: "LOVED my first pole fitness class at @kellyameliafitness today! (sic)"
Lucy previously vowed to give pole dancing classes a go so that she could release her "inner sexy side".
She said: "I don’t have to pole-dance in scenes, although I would love to learn. I think my sister Racheal would like to as well so maybe we’ll start going to some lessons soon.
"Hopefully it will help me bring out my inner sexy side."
Lucy has previously tried out pole dancing fitness classes before, but there were consequences because the next day she could "barely" raise her arms.
She added: "For my sister’s hen do last year we went to a pole-dancing fitness class and it was so good. I really got into it and it’s so difficult.
"You have to have so much upper body strength and the next day I could barely lift my arms up. I felt like I had hurt myself. It was the first time that I felt like I’d given my body a proper work out, so I would love to take it up. It was so good."
Lucy’s latest lesson comes after her ‘Corrie’ character Bethany – who has previously been the victim of grooming and sexual exploitation – got a job at lap-dancing club Tassels, but she has since been fired.
