Lucy Fallon didn’t leave Corrie dressing room for first 6 months

Lucy Fallon was "too scared" to leave her dressing room for the first six months of her ‘Coronation Street’ career.
The 24-year-old actress – who will depart the cobbles in March after five years on the soap – has reflected on how her life has changed since leaving sixth form in 2015, and admitted she was so nervous when she first joined the cast.
She told the Metro newspaper: "I had no idea what direction life was going to take me in. I didn’t get into the drama schools I’d applied for.
"I auditioned for ‘Corrie’, but somebody else was offered the part of Bethany first and then I ended up getting it.
"I was 19 and it took me six months to come out of my dressing room — I was too scared to speak to anyone. Never in a million years back then did I think I’d end up calling Gail Platt a friend!"
Over the last few years, Lucy has grown close to her co-stars, and she even has a couple of group chats with her fellow actors.
She added: "I’m in a group chat with Sally Ann Matthews (Jenny Connor), Colson Smith (Craig Tinker), Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) and Lisa George (Beth Tinker) — they’ve not kicked me out yet!
"I’m also in a big group chat with all the girls from the cast. I’m close to everyone but obviously all of the Platts."
Although Lucy’s exit scenes don’t air until March, she’s already filmed her final moments and left the set – and she admitted it was an emotional day.
She revealed: "I was pretty pathetic actually! My mum and dad, two sisters and boyfriend Tom [Leech] all came and watched me film my last scene and I literally did not stop crying all day.
"There was mascara all over my face and tears and snot dripping on to my clothes! Whenever somebody asked how I was feeling, I’d start again."
