Lucie Donlan reveals Love Islanders get McDonald’s and pamper days

Lucie Donlan has revealed the Islanders are treated to McDonald’s and pamper sessions "every two or three weeks" on ‘Love Island’.
The blonde beauty was dumped from the ITV2 dating show during last week’s recoupling, and she has spilled the details on what life is like inside the famous villa on their days off.
Speaking to Roman Kemp, 2018 winner Dani Dyer and Vick Hope on ‘Capital Breakfast’, she shared: "Every two or three weeks we’d have nails, hair, that kind of thing done. And we’d get a Maccies as well.
"Being in there that long, the nights are very long and no one sees how long they are, so you need a bit of a down day and a bit of a chill."
It’s not all glamorous though, as they also had to do their own cleaning.
But the 21-year-old surfer admitted they needed the "break" to "stop talking about feelings".
She added: "We had one day where everybody cleaned the house, it was like a proper family cleaning – the guys did the downstairs and made all the beds and then the girls did the showers and washed upstairs – we had a chill day wearing baggy clothes and chill pyjamas.
"It was so nice, you need those days in there because sometimes you need a break and you stop talking about feelings and all that – you just have a bit of a muck around, it’s really nice."
Meanwhile, Lucie – who was coupled up with Joe Garratt – admitted she grew fond of boxer Tommy Fury, who is partnered with Molly-Mae Hague.
She said: "I went with how I felt at that moment and I knew it was right for me at that time so I would never change a thing."
Asked why she ended up picking Joe – who she recently reunited with on sister show ‘Love Island: Aftersun’ and has hinted a a future with – over Tommy, she explained: "When I was first in there Tommy was very serious, I just didn’t really fancy him and it was the lifestyle I quite liked about Tommy, I was like on the outside we’d really work.
"And I kind of questioned it but with Joe I just fancied him straight away, really liked him straight away. And I couldn’t be fake in there."
Tune in to ‘Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp’, weekdays from 6am – 10am.
