Lucie Donlan’s relationship with Joe Garratt is "going really well".
The former ‘Love Island’ stars recently confirmed they had rekindled their romance in the outside world and though they live far away from one another, they are doing what they can to stay together.
Lucie said: "We’re together and it has been going really well.
"He’s living up in London and I’m down in Cornwall but I’m back and forth and staying in a lot of hotels and at his. I’m up here loads so I get to see him then."
And the 21-year-old beauty admitted she and Joe deliberately played down their bond in order to take the pressure off while they were establishing their relationship.
She added to OK! Online "Basically we were always saying in interviews that we were only friends but we were going on dates in secret because we wanted the pressure taken off.
"We got to know each other at home, he came to see me in Cornwall and we met each other’s families and he took me for a nice meal and asked me out."
One couple who haven’t stayed together since leaving the villa are winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, who split this weekend, much to the "surprise" of Lucie.
She said: "I thought they were in it for the long haul. I haven’t seen Amber yet tonight but I want to catch up with her.
"I want to speak to her to find out her side to the story. Obviously I didn’t get to meet Greg in the villa. I have never really crossed paths with him."
