Love Island’s Wes Nelson won’t beg Megan to take him back

Love Island’s Wes Nelson feels mugged off that Megan Barton-Hanson has ditched him.
The 20-year-old design engineer has returned from Casa Amor to see his partner, Megan now coupled up with bearded hunk Alex Miller.
While talking to fellow islander, Samira Mighty, on the roof terrace, Wes told her that he spent his time in Casa Amor missing Megan and wanting to get back to her.
After seeing Megan sat with Alex, he said: "It’s happened so I’ve got to dust myself off now. Whether I can pick things back up with Meg, who knows? I’m not going to make myself look like a mug. I’ll just have to see where the wind takes me … Am I going to beg for Meg back? No."
After ditching his partner from the start of the show Laura Anderson, Wes has been left single alongside Georgia Steel, who was dumped by Josh Denzel for makeup artist Kazimir Crossley.
While reflecting on their respective situations, Wes said to Georgia: "Hearing kissing. And it was coming from Meg’s side of the room. I looked over. Even just hearing them laughing … I was upset and there was a moment when I was in bed looking at the ceiling and I could hear kissing and I was like, ‘You are taking the mickey.’
"I understand why she’s done it but it’s a massive kick in the teeth."
In the Beach Hut, Wes opened up even more, saying: "Obviously I’m hurt by it. I’m just trying to put on a brave face. I want to be approachable, live normal villa life and that’s the way I’m going to have to deal with it."
Tensions are running high between Josh and Georgia after he brought Kazimir back from the neighbouring villa.
Josh tells Samira: "I can’t ignore that in those few days I went further getting to know someone than in three weeks. Am I going to ignore that? No."
‘Love Island’ airs on ITV2 on Tuesday night (03.07.18).
