Love Island to introduce first ever twins

‘Love Island’ will welcome its first ever twins to the villa when the show’s first winter series begins on Sunday (12.01.20).
The ITV2 reality show – which usually airs in the summer and is filmed in a villa in Mallorca – will be bringing the warmth of South Africa to screens this weekend when the inaugural winter series kicks off, and to start the fresh series with a bang, producers have added another first to the line up.
Entering the villa this weekend will be Eve and Jess Gale, who are 20-year-old twins from London, who are both students and VIP hostesses.
The introduction of twins will be a first for ‘Love Island’, but the pair have insisted viewers won’t be seeing any sibling rivalry as they search for their special someone, because they have too much "respect" for each other to argue over boys.
Jess said: "We’ve got so much respect for each other we’re not going to argue over a boy!"
And Eve added: "Boys often say, ‘Right, I fancy you both – which one of you wants me?’ Some boys will be messaging me and Jessica at the same time, I don’t think they think we talk."
Elsewhere in the line up is Sophie Piper, the younger sister of The Saturdays singer and television presenter Rochelle Humes, and 22-year-old Paige Turley, who previously dated singer Lewis Capaldi.
Speaking about her claim to fame, Paige said: "Lewis Capaldi is my ex boyfriend. We went out when we were younger, I was about 17 or 18. We were together for about a year. It ended really amicably and we’re still pals."
Also entering the new villa is Ollie Williams, who is the heir to the Manor of Lanhydrock, and whose family title is Viscount Clifden.
This series – which will be hosted for the first time by Laura Whitmore – will also see builder Nas Majeed, scaffolder Callum Jones, coffee bean salesman Connor Durman, police officer Mike Boateng, democratic services officer Shaughna Phillips, beauty consultant Siânnise Fudge, and customer services advisor Leanne Amaning enter the villa.
