Louise Redknapp: ‘Strictly improved my marriage’

Louise Redknapp claims ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has improved her marriage.
The singer has been surprised by her husband Jamie Redknapp’s dedication to the show, and can’t believe he has been in the front row cheering her on every week.
She told the Daily Star: "When I first started doing this show, I thought this is so not up Jamie’s street – but I can’t get rid of him.
"Every Saturday he’s in the front row, he’s in the training room and I wasn’t expecting that.
"I thought I’d go to work, do my thing. He said: ‘I think this is going to be great for you, get back out there, show everyone who you are.’
"I wasn’t expecting him there every Saturday in that front row and that’s made it even more special for me.
"It’s really nice to see someone you love extremely proud of you.
"It takes me back to 20 years ago when we first met and I was on stage – all good things come from ‘Strictly’!"
While Louise and Jamie have avoided the ‘Strictly’ curse, his pals Jack Whitehall previously revealed he had teased the former footballer that Louise would leave him for her dance partner Kevin Clifton.
He said: "I have been winding Jamie up about the ‘Strictly’ curse. He did not enjoy the jokes. He nearly punched me."
