Louisa Johnson’s solo single gets censored

Louisa Johnson has been forced to change the lyrics on her debut solo single.
The ‘X Factor’ winner – who was crowned the champion of the singing competition last year – is to drop her track ‘So Good’ on Friday (28.10.16) but it’s been given a last minute makeover because bosses at her label aren’t keen on her explicit chorus.
A source told The Sun Online: "The chorus containing the F-word was changed at the request of senior staff at Simon Cowell’s label [Syco]. Bosses thought a clean version would be more appropriate for the radio."
The chorus now sings: "I wasn’t supposed to go out tonight/ I should be at home I got work at 9/ shouldn’t be out here doing what I like/ but it feels so good, so good."
The 18-year-old singer is set to return to the show that made her famous at the weekend when she debuts her solo single on ‘The X Factor’ in front of the judges.
She said recently: "If it all goes to plan then definitely [I’ll be on The X Factor]."
And it’s full steam ahead for the teenager this year as she’s also planning to drop her album next month and has teased that it’s very different from what people will expect.
She said: "It’s not one kind of genre. I love Caribbean-vibe music. Beyonce, old school R&B and everything from the 90s. I think people will be surprised when they hear it! … It’s been quite difficult to go straight from the show to the studio, but I just want to share my music. For me, my music is like a diary: it’s very real and honest, and I like to be open."
Louisa may have only been in the industry less than a year but she’s already built up a bulging contacts book after she teamed up with Clean Bandit for ‘Tears’ earlier this year.
