Louis Walsh: Lauren Platt will leave X Factor this week

Louis Walsh has predicted Lauren Platt will be voted off ‘The X Factor’ this week.

The 62-year-old judge – who lost his final act, Stereo Kicks, to Lauren in Sunday night’s sing off (30.11.14) – believes the 16-year-old singer will be the next act to leave the competition.

When asked if he thought Cheryl will lose her last remaining act this week, he said: "Absolutely, yeah."

Louis also confessed he was gutted to see his eight-piece boyband leave and insists they had "two more weeks" left in the competition.

The entertainment manager then explained how he is sure the boys have a career ahead of them but admitted he wouldn’t be able to work with the band again as they are already contracted to management company James Grant as part of their deal to appear on ‘The X Factor’.

When asked if he would manage the band, Louis said: "I couldn’t even if I wanted to.

"What the public don’t know is that everybody on ‘The X Factor’ signs a contract before the show about the management. They all sign with James Grant. So even if I wanted to I couldn’t.

"I think they’re really good, I think they’ve got a career definitely. I love working with them. We got to know each other in the end. I was really annoyed last week when they were voted off – I thought we had two more weeks."
